Langtang Trek: Day 7

Since a picture is worth a thousand words and I have tons of pictures to share I thought I would simply do a blog today that is some more photos.

Way down at the bottom of the mountain is our exit point tomorrow morning. That is a lot of down! It’s about 6000 feet down. We went about one third of that today. The rest is for tomorrow.

The tea house that we stayed at on day 2 and day 5. The dining area is on the right, also the family living quarters. The building in back is the guest rooms. Shower/toilet building is behind the family’s building, not seen in this picture.

You can hopefully see the steepness of the trail. In the background, with the white bag, is Bulram, our porter.

There were great views everywhere. Here is one.

Yet another great view……

I took this picture because the different colors of moss on this tree represented all of the various hues of green that were evident all over the forest. Also, it just looks cool. The trees were very tall.

A shot of the other glacier in the valley.

Hiking along in the valley you feel very, very small.

A bigger picture view of the narrow trail that hugs the mountain that we followed today. See if you can pick it out.

Beautiful pics! Thanks for sharing your adventures, Sandy! Keep on trekking…
